Purpose:
|
Postoperative pain management remains a significant problem in cataract surgery
|

Methods:
|
One hundered sixty paients 160 randomly divided 2 groups:Paracetamol(P),Fentanyl(F).
|
|
Results:
|
In 69% GP and 88.8% GF , were not anxious before the surgery(P value=0.117).No pain in both groups(P value=0.546).The mean score of patients, satisfaction were8.84+_1.096 in GP and 9.48+_8.033 in GF(P value=0.040)
|

Conclusion:
|
Paracetamol had analgesic effect(weaker than fentanyl) and reduce blood pressure and less complications(than fentanyl).We suggest Paracetamol(full dose)and fentanyl(lower dose) for our aims
