Purpose:
|
Dermatomycosis are caused by attacking different species of keratinophlic or dermatophyte fungi to the human’s or animals’ skin in kreatinc layers. in this study, the resources of fungal infection pollutions of dermatophyte existing in the soil of Babol medical university’s hospitals have been investigated.

Methods:
|
This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed on the soil of Babol medical university’s hospital yard during 3 months. Fifteen plates of soil from each hospital were collected and caltured on Saboraud agar(S) and S with chloramphencol and Cyclohexamaide (scc) culture media. The data were collected and analyzed.

Results:
|
in the soil of Shahid Beheshti hospital yard, Cunnighamella SP species (100% of cases), in Yahya nejad Hospital M.gypseum (100%), in Fatemeh zahra hospital M.gypseum species (100% of cases), in Amir Kola children central hospital M.gypseum species (93%), in Shahid Rajaii Hospital in Babolsar, Asperigillus niger species (53%) and in Marzi Kola hospital, Cunninghamella species (86%) the most species of fungi were observed. Conclusion:
|
In this research, the most detected species in the soil of Babol medical university’s hospitals’ yard was Cunnighamella and the least one were Trichothecium sp., Alternaria sp. and non candida sp. can cause human ringworm , mucormycosis, aspergillusis and so on .
